Harley
Harley is a recent graduate of our "Boarding School Program." He was 10 weeks old when he joined us. It was a perfect age, and he benefited greatly from constant socialization and attention. He was house-trained and crate-trained during his stay, and learned name association, sit, down, stand, sit-stay, down-stay, stand-stay, recall, heel, fetch, leave-it, crawl, roll-over, and command combinations. He was also desensitized to handling, bathing, teeth brushing, and nail clipping. He's such a fluffy lover, it's hard to stop from just covering him up in love hugs all day.Harley is now getting regular visits and reinforcement through our puppy visits. He's a smart fella and eager to learn new tricks. We are currently getting him accustomed to swimming so he can join us on our beach field trips - keep paddling, Harley!

Pico is one of our more recent behavioral cases. He presented with high anxiety, unclear leadership, and frustration intolerance. He also jumped on guests and furniture, and would nip if someone tried to sit on the same couch. As an Italian Greyhound, it can sometimes be difficult to overcome their nervousness. But with consistency and re-assurance, Pico is now a calmer, more relaxed pet. His parents are delighted with his progress. They have learned to provide clear leadership and boundaries, and can now sit on their couch without fear of Pico's reprisal!Bambi

Happy
Happy is a hound mix that originally came to us as a humane society foster. He previously lived in a home with ten other dogs that had no means of food, water, or shelter, and appeared to be inter-breeding.
When he first arrived, he was emaciated, Heartworm positive, and completely withdrawn. He was not housebroken or trained, and suffered from Coprohagia (he ate feces).
We are “Happy” to say that with several months of rehabilitation he has made a complete turn-around. He is at an ideal body weight, and is no longer Coprohagic. He now loves to greet people and other animals, and he has even participated in rally and agility classes!
